This morning I woke up and took Bosco for a lovely 20 minute walk. It was nice just to wake up throw on some comfies and enjoy the morning air. I need to do this more often. I am always GO GO GO in the morning, even when running. While I was walking I practiced my ten thankful things this morning too 🙂 I also started to dream about my next vacation(I am always planning).
BREAKFAST
Oh how I have missed me some OATS! I haven’t had oatmeal in FORRR-EVV-ERR!
In the Mix:
- 1/3 c oats, 1/3 c water, 1/3 c almond milk
- whipped in half banana, flax seed, and a little brown sugar.
Toppings:
- Handful of Nature’s Path Pumpkin Flax Granola
- Little Nut Trail mix
- Frozen Blueberries (nuked for 1 minute)
- Frozen Raspberries (nuked for 1 minute)
Wednesday Workout Tip: Sexy Abs Don’t Come Easy
I have decided that it is going to take a lot for me to get that six pack I will probably never have, but summer is around the corned and I want to feel good about the skin that I am in. So how does one obtain sexy abs? WHO KNOWS! I feel like you have to eat egg whites, chicken, and broccoli and that’s it! I am not willing to give up wine and fro-yo, so this probably I will never have a six pack. But what can I do?
What types of food does one need to be eating?
You should be eating lots of lean proteins like chicken, egg whites, and fish. You should not eliminate all your complex carbohydrates either as it will impair your metabolism, but you will need to modify your intake. Every woman is different so it could be something a body is born with naturally! NOT MINE!
What types of exercise should one be doing?
FAT BURNING WORKOUTS! Along with core strengthening exercises.
What about cardio?
MORE THEN JUST WALKING! You should be really getting your heart rate up and burning fat!
You need to do interval cardio to really get your body fat down and to start seeing those abs.
Ok so I do a lot of these things so where is that 6 pack???? Oh well who needs a 6 pack anyway?! As long as I am happy with the skin I am in right?
I am going to take the P90X AB RIPPER X challenge and see if I notice anything different!
