Happy FRIDAY!!! It’s been while since I have done one of these posts and I just love writing them! So please, grab a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever you fancy and let’s chat.
If we were having coffee this morning…I would tell you that I am overjoyed to be hosting our first Refresh Summit a week from today! I have been dreaming, praying, and yearning for a retreat like this for years now and it’s finally all coming in to play! I know that God is going to do greater things than I could even fathom and I can’t wait to see so many women walk away with a recharges spirit of refreshment.
If we were having coffee this morning…I would tell you that not only am I finishing up the final details for the Refresh Summit, but this was the first week of the Summer Shred and man these ladies are killing it! I love what I do so much, because even though it is my job to inspire and help others to get fit, in the end I feel like I am the one inspired. I am not doing the full shred with everyone this time as I am trying to work on my strength as well as learn some fun new workout moves to share with my Shred folks through out the Summer. Don’t worry if you missed this month’s sign ups, I will have a June sign up coming next week!
If we were having coffee this morning…I would tell you that RJ just turned 8 months old! Crazy right?! They always say it goes by fast and to savor each moment, well they aren’t kidding, I feel like she was two weeks old yesterday! She is eating, sitting, screaming, babbling, grabbing, playing, holding her own bottle, laughing and smiling with her whole heart!
If we were having coffee this morning…I would tell you that it has been a rough two weeks since getting back from vacation. I barely unpacked a couple of days ago, our laundry is so overdue I don’t have any sports bras left, RJ is not napping normally, we finally sat at the dinner table for the first time last night, and I am pretty sure my nails have never looked worse. But in all of it, I am taking in every sweet moment with baby girl and pushing chores aside. I love helping others. I love seeing lives transformed. I know life will resume back to “normal†soon, but for now I find peace in the shower, drives in the car, 5 minutes of my devotion time, and in my workouts.
If we were having coffee this morning…I would tell you that the hubs and I desperately need a date night. I know we are spoiled with having as many as we have already have, but we crave them!
If we were having coffee this morning…I would tell you I went and saw the movie “ The Other Women†this week with some girlfriends and it was the funny chick flick that I expected. No Oscar winner, but a good laugh and a good friend movie.
If we were having coffee this morning…I would tell you that I am getting excited about my first Mother’s Day this weekend, but at the same time I am praying for all the ladies out there that long to be Moms. I know for me, this was one of the most difficult times of the year. I went to the Choose Joy Event this past weekend and it reminded me of God’s faithfulness and being able to share RJ’s story with so many women was such a blessing. I love being a Mom, but more than anything I love being a daughter to the King of Kings.
Cheers friends! Cheers!
