If you think you are too small to make a difference, try spending the night in a closed room with a mosquito. –African saying
Have you ever looked at your life and felt powerless to make significant changes in the world because you’re “only one person?†What if, instead of being paralyzed by our own inabilities or overwhelmed by the world’s great needs, we lived as though our little acts of kindness really mattered … because they do matter to someone. Mother Teresa was known for saying, “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.â€
My challenge today is to NOT think of myself but think of others. So today and tomorrow I shall fast from myself.
This morning I woke up early to get to work by 7am and it wasn’t that bad. It’s actually really nice being the first one in the office. I made my breakfast here at work, thank goodness we have a toaster.
I had some Kashi Honey Oat Waffles with Pb and a half of a Nanner.
I am thinking of small things I can do for others today, I did go buy a pumpkin candle for our office here at work I knew the girls would love this!
The gift of scent is wonderful! I am about to make a fresh pot of coffee for the girls before they get in, and then who knows what I will do.
Question: What small act of kindness have you done lately, or have been done to you?
