Cake Balls & Coffee

Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments on my post last night. I felt great after writing about it and then to hear all the positive feed back really made it easier for me to just let go 🙂

This morning I slept in and then enjoyed my most favorite thing to do when I am here at the FIL’s farm. Drink coffee on the porch swing 🙂

The best part of waking up…

The FIL was up nice and early to make us all breakfast.

Gotta love home cooking 🙂

He uses his mother’s original biscuit cutter to make the perfect size biscuits.

Of course I enjoyed a slice of heaven 🙂

I checked on the cake balls this morning and they turned out perfect!

Wow! I don’t like cake, but these I might eat 🙂

Today were off to French Camp Mississippi. We are visiting our good friend Zach, who used to live with us. I am so excited to see what the heck he has been up to!

Question: Have you ever made homemade biscuits?

This is something I need to conquer in the kitchen! Hubby loves them 🙂
