Birthday Give-Away Week

Happy Marathon Monday!!!

Thank you for all of your kind words and praise from yesterday’s race. I am still on cloud 9!!! As asked I will be doing some posts soon about my track workouts and how I have gotten speedy 🙂

BREAKFAST

I decided to break out the juicer this morning to try a new smoothie recipe from Cooking Light, the Carrot, Apple, and Ginger Refresher. Minus the Ginger.

I also added Fage instead of vanilla yogurt.

I juiced up 1/2 cup of carrot juice.

Then into the Vita-Mix I added:

• 1/2 cup carrot juice
• 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
• 1/2 cup Fage (any Greek yogurt would do)
• 1 tsp of fresh lime juice
• 1 frozen banana
• 1 cup of ice

MMMMM this was amazing, the perfect amount of sweetness and so refreshing!

In other news:
