I was so excited to get up and run this morning and add my first miles to POTM!! I haven’t been able to run alone early in the morning because of the darkness, but with the time change I was soooo ready! I woke up at 6am and did a wonderful 4 mile tempo run!

  • Mile 2: 7:55
  • Mile 3: 7:20
  • Mile 4: 8:45
  • The Burn: 414 calories

I miss speedy workouts of my own! I know I would do them with my cross country team, but I was more focused on their goals then my own. It’s nice to be on track with training!! I only have four more weeks until my Santa Barbara Marathon :).

After my run I made a delicious bowl of Pumpkin Oats in my new bowl.

  • 1/3 cup oats, soy milk, water
  • Half banana
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin
  • 1/2 tbsp flax seed
  • pumpkin spice + vanilla
  • Sprinkle of mixed nuts
  • Spoonful Homemade Pumpkin Butter (this Pumpkin Butter is AMAZING)

QUESTION: Why do we have Day Light Savings??? I have heard so many different answers thought I would hit all of you up for some answers 🙂
