This week has been pretty interesting. Beside the normal 40 hours a week at my normal job I have picked up 7 clients for personal training!!!!! I still am so excited that I get to personal train from my own home. Don’t get me wrong it’s a pretty full day, but doing it from my house makes life so much easier.
All the ladies have been doing so awesome and we had our first weigh in last week and they both lost over 5 pounds!!! I am so proud of all their hard work and dedication and I am truly blessed to be a part of their journey. I knew personal training was something that I would love, but I had no idea I would get this much joy from it!
On to the rest of my week ๐ I took on this bad boy again at the gym!! The wide barbell squat, freaking hard core!!!
This phase of the 12 week livefit trainer is coming to an end, thank goodness! I am so ready for some cardio! I miss sweating and running!! I will give a full recap of phase 1 on Saturday.
This week I also checked something off of my 30 things till 30 list. I finally tried some custard!!! It was ok, not as amazing as I had hoped.
I was also pleasantly surprised with a case of Chobani’s new flavors!!! I was so excited to finally try these bad boys, I am kind of obsessed with this Greek yogurt!
So far I have tried the Passion fruit and loved it. It’s a lot sweeter then the other ones I have tried and their are some weird little seeds in it, but if your craving a sweet packed with 14 grams of protein that this is the one you would love.
There were several delicious meals enjoyed this week.
Paprika Salmon from Fresh and Easy. The best $5 I have ever spent on two pieces of fish.
Lots of avocado chicken salads with a poppy seed dressing I made myself.
French Press coffee and to-go protein packed oats: 1/2 cup oats, 1 scoop of protein powder, 1 cup of blueberries and some walnuts.
I also snuck in a little me time this week and painted my nails. I am in love with glitter these days.
and tonight I made my infamous crock pot salsa chicken, a staple in our house (Matt actually made it).
I made a big taco salad, minus the taco!!
With mixed greens, 1/2 an avocado, plain Chobani, red peppers, cilantro, and tomatoes.
with a side of Skinny Girl. I mixed 3 oz of Skinnygirl margarita mix + a cup of ice+ 2 frozen strawberries into the vita-mix and ta da!
The rest of the night I will be digging more into my book. Glad to be reading again, I was getting addicted Friends!!
Oh and the title of my post is reffering to me counting down the days till our cruise to the BAHAMAS!!! 9 more days ๐ OH I CAN NOT WAIT!!
Question: Have you ever been on a cruise? Have you ever been to the Bahamas?
This will be our third and every one of them have been absolutely amazing!!!
