Ever since the RFC I have been all about being local and BUYING local!!! Yesterday I was brought back to one of my favorite places to get fresh local produce, Moms Country Orchards. I grew up going there, but really haven’t been back in awhile. Thanks to Groupon I got a chance to be reunited!
I just love daises.
A lot of the produce that is sold there is from their own garden!
Oak Glen is really known for their apples, but in the summer they sale all the best seasoned fruits.
Plus veggies!
They also had some really good salsas, the cherry salsa was my fave!
Local HONEY!
Yes please!
A wall of JAMS!!!
For the Rhubarb fans (Joe and Jessica).
More REAL FOOD!
Have you ever seen a whole chestnut? I hadn’t, aren’t they funny looking?!
The winner of the day…Salty Chocolate Milk Carmel Dip and Topping, must recreate!
So just when we thought we saw it all, the owner offered to pick us some fresh veggies from the farm!
I have never seen celery grown before, looks interesting.
I even got a lot of fresh herbs (our garden is growing herbs like crazy).
Don’t be fooled this is not just for rabbits ๐
Look what we scored for only $10!!
Such a fun Saturday adventure.
Today…
Run + Church …then Time to find AC!!!!!
For some reason ours is not working so well and it’s making me cranky ๐
