20 Minute Tuesday + Protein Bar Recipe

Hey Friends,

I have a killer recipe for you that I made last night. I have been dying to make Jamie Eason’s Chocolate Protein Bars and finally got in the kitchen and got to it! I put a little spin on it though. I added in coconut and almond slices.

Chocolate Protein Bars– Adapted from Jamie Eason

Ingredients

1/2 cup Oat Flour

1/4 cup Unsweetened Coconut

1/4 cup chopped Almonds

2 Egg Whites

1 scoops Vanilla Whey Protein Powder

1/4 cup Splenda, Truvia, or Ideal1/4 ts

Baking Powder

Dash Salt

4 oz Berry Flavored Baby Food

2 tbsp Baking Cocoa

2 oz Water

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients (oat flower, vanilla whey protein, baking soda, salt, coconut, almonds baking cocoa) together in a large bowl. Mix wet ingredients (egg whites, Splenda, Berry flavored Baby Food,Water) together in a medium sized bowl.Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix together.
Spray cooking dish with a non stick butter spray and add batter to dish. Bake 20-30 minutes in oven.
Makes 16 squares, serving size=2 bars.Serving Size: makes 8 squares-serving 2 squares
Each bar had over 4 grams of protein!

10 rounds for time:
Do this whole circuit 10 times and it should take about 20 minutes!
10 Push-ups
10 Sit-ups
10 Mountain Climbers
10 Tricep Dips
10 Squat Jumps
Repeat 10 x’s
